Industry Lunch

30 years since the October '87 Crash

The Australian Stockbrokers Foundation is hosting an industry luncheon marking 30 years since the October ’87 stock market crash.

The aim of the event is to bring together past and present industry participants to remember a moment in history which appears on every economic timeline.

A lot went on in 1987.

- ASX was formed (through the merging of the State Stock Exchanges).
- Electronic trading started through SEATS (one day before the Crash).
- 20th October 1987 was the largest one day fall in the history of stock exchange trading.

Join us to mark this milestone.
Featuring guest speaker Trevor Sykes aka “Pierpont”.
Tickets are $180 or table of ten for $1,600
